A Day In The Life Of Ella....

Hang out with Mommy.......

Listen to sister play a little music on her guitar....

Play for a while.......

Finally, a bath....and then to bed!

Little Toes!!

Ella's New Best Friend!

Ella and I went to visit Ms Lena and George Truitt the other night. They had so much fun. Truitt kept rubbing her cheek. She was as content as could be. She just smiled at him the entire time! I guess she was just happy to see someone that was more her size. In a few months, when El can really get up and go, there's no telling what these two will get into together!

Holding Hands!

This has to be my favorite picture of the two of them. They were holding hands and both being so sweet! There might be a romance in the future for these two cuties! However, Jeb says we should stick to being friends for now.......we don't want to start that too early! They are cute though!

Emma in the snow!

We finally got a little snow in Auburn the other day...just a little! Emma was so excited because it was the first time she'd ever really seen it snow before. She and Otis played for a while and were able to throw a few snowballs before it started to melt away! And, of course, she had to have some hot chocolate when she came in because it was sooo cold and "that's what you drink when it snows!"..according to Emma!

Ella's first 3 months!

Ella will be 3 months old tomorrow! Time really does fly by! Since I just started this blog I thought I would post some pictures of Ella over the last 3 months. It's amazing how much they change in those first few months. She was born at 10 lbs 5 oz and at her 2 month check up she was up to 14 lbs 11oz! She's definitely a little chunk.....but SOOO cute! I think she's at about 15 1/2 lbs by now...maybe more!

Jeb, Emma, and Motocross!

Jeb took Emma to the motocross competition in Columbus Friday night. She LOVED it (they both did)! She said it was "so cool" to see those guys doing back flips on dirt bikes! I guess since Jeb got two girls instead of a son he has to do the "guy stuff" with Em (he also took her with him to shoot his new gun in Eufaula a few weeks ago. She shot a gun for the first time, a 22 caliber rifle...the same one that Jeb used when he was her age!) It's a good thing she LOVES doing things like that. He did have one request...that the next time they went to a motocross show that she wear something other than a skirt and sequin tennis shoes....i guess she didn't really fit in with all of the little boys that were there! And yes, that is a motocross jersey that she is wearing. She liked it the best because it had pink on it. Poor Jeb....he doesn't stand a chance!

Mommys Helper!

There are definitely advantages to having such a big age difference between the girls! Emma is a HUGE help. She changes diapers (well, one) and feeds her for me, on occasion, when i need to get some things done. Now that Ella recognizes her and knows (somewhat) who she is, emma can keep her entertained. She thinks emma is so funny. Emma calls her her little cupcake!

Our Newest Addition

Our newest addition, Ella Reid, was born on October 22nd. She was 10 lbs 5oz and 22 in long! With a 6 year difference between Emma and Ella it was definitely like starting all over again! We've all adjusted wonderfully to having Ella around, especially Emma. Ella is so blessed to have such an awesome big sis! Jeb and I are pretty lucky, too. We have two beautiful daughters whom we love dearly. Poor Jeb, he'll definatley have his hands full when these two get older!
