A Pretty Day to Play ~

After tornados, snowstorms, and the FLU.......it was nice to get out and play in the sun! We took the girls to the playground at CWES (Emma's school) yesterday and they wore themselves (and us) out! Ella was having so much fun that she kicked and screamed (literally) the whole way home.....and then took a very long nap!

Snow....

..in March? Only in Alabama! We had so much fun playing in the snow, especially Emma! The last time we had snow she barely had enough to make half of a snowman...this time she had plenty! El didn't seem to be too impressed. She was too busy chasing the cat to worry about anything else!

A Seussical Musical ~

"Music Class" just isn't the same as it was when I was in 2nd grade! Thursday, Emma's class performed their "Seussical Musical" (a tribute to Dr. Seuss) for the parents! After they finished singing, they showed us what they've been learning in music class! This included having the parents (ME) playing the bongo drums to a beat......which Emma found to be hysterical (me...not so much)!

Before we left, she showed me all of the instruments she's been learning to play as well!
